Hubley Painted Fox Paperweight Cast Iron
Original (circa 1920 1948) hubley cast iron paperweight of a setaed fox. This fox is painted ni beautiful colors and is in excellent condition. There is some paint wear off the base, but otherwise the paint is in excellent condition. Height 2 incheswidth 1 inch at baseweight approx 8 9 oz.
(scale needs new batteries)this piece belonged to my mother, she collected miniatures a child in the 40's and 50's. Her mother was an antique dealer in the new england area for over 50 years. Hre business was called polly's early attic and we spent many years helping her set up and break down and flea markets and antique shows all over new england. |
